PASSAGES is an itinerant poetic intervention that takes place in urban spaces such as sidewalks, alleys, parks, squares and communal areas.
\nIt is a stroll through the poetic universe of Hilda Hilst's work, which offers spectators an encounter stamped by lyricism and humor. Poems, fragments of tales and soap operas are shared with the spectator, who sometimes follows the actresses, sometimes watches the scenes, and sometimes becomes a part of it.
\nThe intervention invests in the experience of presence as an event and in the urban landscape interference that proposes a delicate encounter between art and daily life.<\/p>\n

SYNOPSIS<\/strong><\/p>\n

PASSAGES is an itinerant poetic intervention that takes place in urban spaces such as sidewalks, alleys, parks, squares and communal areas.
\nIt is a stroll through the poetic universe of Hilda Hilst's work, which offers spectators an encounter stamped by lyricism and humor. Poems, fragments of tales and soap operas are shared with the spectator, who sometimes follows the actresses, sometimes watches the scenes, and sometimes becomes a part of it.
\nThe path is defined according to the specifics of the place where it is being presented. A few stops where the encounters occur are previously established. These encounters are divided into 3 stages: compositions of body and space (the actresses create images together with the space); poems close to the ear (poems are whisperedin a one-to-one relation to the spectator); and in the third stage the theatrical space is settled with the text of \"The Obscene Lady D\u201d.

Who was Hilda Hilst?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Hilda Hilst (Ja\u00fa, April 21st, 1930 \u2014 Campinas, February 4th, 2004) was a Brazilian novelist, chronicler, playwright and poet, considered by the specialized critics as one of the biggest Portuguese language writers of the 20th century, who reported the fragile and surprising human condition in her work, merging sacred and profane, real and imaginary.
\nIn 1965 she moved to Campinas, starting up a type of creative haven, which she called CASA DO SOL (\u2018Sun\u2019s house\u2019 in Portuguese). There, Hilda dedicated herself exclusively to her literary work, producing more than 80% of her work. Nowadays, Casa do Sol is known for hosting an archive of her memory as well as the the Hilda Hilst Institute.
\nShe was honoured as an author at FLIP 2018 (International Literary Festival of Paraty, Rio de Janeiro) and was granted awards such as Jabuti, APCA (Associa\u00e7\u00e3o Paulista dos Cr\u00edticos de Artes \u2013 Art Critics Association of S\u00e3o Paulo State), Pen Clube S\u00e3o Paulo and Cassiano Ricardo.
